horrid henry not so horrid

FINALLY. i've spent so much time moaning about how america has such a sweet deal (zac posen and rodarte for target...) that i nearly missed a dose of fashion goodness that was slap bang on my high street. utter elation has come in the form of henry holland announcing he will be doing an exclusive line, H!, for the department store debenhams. really observant ones among you may remember he has tights line at john lewis, but this new collection has everything from cute summer frocks to denim jackets, at affordable prices. the collection has been modelled by pixie geldof, and the CEO of debenhams has said: "We felt that Pixie personified the range perfectly, so was a natural choice to model the launch collection.". for once, i agree. my nearest debenham's is bromley, so i'll be shopping online.



now for some plain weird news...aspiring milliner james faulkner has started to make hats out of roadkill. yeah, you read that right. roadkill. dude's justification is: "Essentially, I feel like I am turning something sad into something quite stylish, and I think it's good that the animal doesn't just rot on the road." i'm not sure about this at all - can i point out the obvious hygiene issues? i guess PETA would argue that this is just as gross as fur, and they're right. oh well, got the poor guy some attention.
