getting really, really super-glowy skin

now it's starting to look ever so slightly less arctic outside, my mind's been drifting off making sure every inch of my skin is covered in some form of body butter, and onto getting a bit of a glow back. with less biting winds and frosty spells, i'm starting to want an ever so slightly more summery look, moving away from a matte winter finish onto a kind of more dewy look for the warmer months. i could well be getting ahead of myself here - wouldn't be the first time the weather's fooled us into thinking it's settled - but i'm bored of moisture masks and super hydrating primers. getting a bit of a glow is part skincare, part make up magic. starting with institut estederm's deep pore cleanser - i've been using tonnes of estederm recently, and it's fast becoming a skincare favourite for me. their patented cellular water technology deeply cleanses the skin, whilst helping cell turnover and letting the skin rebuild healthily. the skin balance system is super gentle, and helps to restore the skin's natural ecosystem, so to speak. i use this lovely creamy cleanser twice a week to really deep-clean my skin. it doesn't have granules, or anything hugely textured, which threw me at first - usually exfoliating products have a kind of grit to them, but not this. perfect for ultra-sensitive skin. i love caudalie's huile divine - a spritz on the face gently rubbed in circled before bed ensures a nice dewy glow the next day. full of grape extracts, you can definitely use this oil, even on oily skin, and you'll never look greasy. i also love this for my hair. hourglass's mineral veil primer is the holy grail of primers - a pump and a half is more than enough to mattify the skin, prime for make up and fix it all in place. my skin looks painting-perfect after using this - i really can't recommend it highly enough. it smoothes out any pesky redness or uneven skin tone, too. finally, a little squeeze of the body shop's radiant illuminator. perfectly pinky coloured, it's full of lovely light-reflecting particles that make the skin look incredibly dewy and soft, without the harsh white lines some creamy illuminators leave. there you have it! glowy skin in a flash.

Ah the hourglass primer is definitely something i need to invest in. You look gorgeous by the way and I love the fairy lights behind you too! I quite like face oils - I had a tester one from Kiehls, I think it was the midnight concentrate or something? That was lovely and I woke up with super soft skin the next day! Might have to invest in some!

Mm, I love having 'glowy' skin! I have a MAC moisturiser that I find is really good! I like the sound of the institut estederm cleanser - it sounds good for my sensitive skin.

In Australia Russh is generally found in most newsagents, but I have heard that it can be difficult to find in the UK. I'm pretty sure they have a 'stockist' page on their website that includes an overseas section - it's definitely worth the hunt!
