winter body beauty

let's face it; none of us feel our best in the months between bonfire night and pancake day. it's dreary and dull, and our immune systems are being attacked on all sides (manuka honey is a food group for me right now) and it's nearly impossible to try and stay on top of skincare. central heating and general arctic conditions spell dehydration, flakiness and general looking ghostly this time of year, but i've found a few products that can make me feel, if only temporarily, i'm someplace warmer. i already tackled winter facial skincare, but bodycare's a whole other story. while you have to go easy on your face, i'm a fan of full-on sugar scrubs for my body, and the gloopiest, thickest moisturisers you can buy. hey, if it does the trick...

a) i love caudalie's crushed cabernet scrub. a little goes a long way; a little scraping of this thick, earthy scrub sloughs away dry skin and leaves you feeling really soft and lovely. perfect for tackling those drier-than-dry patches than randomly appear.

b) okay, so christmas is over. but philosophy's christmas cookie shower gel smells just like laura mercier's creme brulee (and for a fraction of the price...) and is super moisturising. it's really not overtly festive; i'll be using this in the summer, probably.

c) lastly...you know i love everything rodial, and their clear tan is no exception. perfect for giving wintery skin a slight glow, it smells delicious and keeps you looking healthy. a winning combo!

Cookie smells like Laura Mercier's Creme Brulee?! I'm totally going to check if they have any left in the B'ham Selfridges. Sounds delish. Oh I do love your beauty posts xxx
