i get lots of lovely comments on here about my hair, so it seemed fitting to show you just how i get it to the right level of definition-with-undone-mussiness. i'd say it's an art form, but it's really not; as you'll see in the video, being a bit haphazard and relaxed helps keep the look very low-key and soft. curls can often go a bit kind of pageant queen, and i think they're the easiest style to make look overworked. with a helping hand from some brilliant products (bumble and bumble's styling products blow it out of the water for me every time), i manage to transform my otherwise huge, untameable and fluffy-frizzy mane into something a bit more refined. i think this would work on straight hair, even though i do have a slight natural curl. as long as you get some lift into it with the barrel brush, you're laughing. fine, full, thick, it's all good. above all, i really rate the living proof and bumble, so let me know if you've used them what you think.
