postcards from shoreditch
it's not so often i post anything fashion-y on here any more, but i assure you that's not because my interest has dropped. sure, i've welcomed beauty with open arms and pretty much devote most of mine and brain space to the gods of cleanse, tone and moisturise, but there's always a place in my heart for fashion. particularly winter fashion, because when you're gonna have to wear lots of layers, they might as well all be cute, right? warehouse asked me if i wanted to take part in a fun little photoshoot near where i live in east london last week, and it sounded the perfect way to get a few outfit snaps to show you on here. first of all, the COAT. i'm head over heels. fleece lined and super-cosy, i'm basically going to live in this thing. it's worth investing in a good ol' coat, because on a cost per use basis, they work out pretty cheap, and it's going to be the centre piece of your outfits for about six months if you're a londoner. also, the jumper; die-hard readers will know of my long love affair with jumpers, but this one is a total winner for me. it's my favourite colour ever, but i normally only get to wear this in summer, so i was pretty chuffed to find this wintery version. it needed a little something extra, hence the necklace. it's a super soft cable knit, with zip detail that matches my skirt. finally, my ankle boots are my new favourites from duo. i've LIVED in these things since i got them, plus they were comfortable from the first wear. i always get compliments on them - a good ankle boot is like a seat on the tube in this city: hard to find and worth hanging onto.
